What is National Junior Honor Society?
The Claymont Middle School National Junior Honor Society (NJHS) is a student-led organization that focuses on community service efforts within the Claymont school district. Community service projects include a 922 Day food drive, “Meet the Candidates” night, a school-wide Veterans Day program, a donation drive for the Rainbow Connection, and serving as guides and mentors for incoming students.

How do I become a member of NJHS?
Students must meet a certain GPA requirement to qualify for NJHS. Qualifying students must then go through an application process, where their applications are reviewed by the NJHS advisors and other staff members. New members are then officially inducted into the Claymont Middle School National Junior Honor Society during an induction ceremony in May.
