The start of the school year is quickly approaching and the staff and I here at Claymont Primary School would like to extend a warm welcome to you and your child. There is a lot happening as we kick off the 2021-22 school year!
Important upcoming events:
Aug 17: Preschool Orientation, 5:00-6:00
Aug 17: K-1 Open House, 5:30-6:30,
Students and families are invited to come to the Primary School and drop off school supplies and meet your teacher
Aug 19: First day of school for 1st Grade Students!
Aug 19: Kindergarten Orientation, 6:00-7:00
Meeting for parents/guardians only about building and classroom procedures. Students are not to attend this.
Aug 19th-20th: Kindergarten students are assigned a scheduled time to meet with their teacher and do some beginning of the year assessments.
Kindergarten Phased-In Start Dates:
August 23: Kindergarten students with last names beginning with A-H will attend school.
August 24: Kindergarten students with last names beginning with I-P will attend school.
August 25: Kindergarten students with last names beginning with Q-Z will attend school.
August 26: ALL Kindergarten students will begin attending school
Preschool Phased-In Start Dates:
Phase In Week: Aug 30-Sept 2 (You will receive a letter stating which day your child will attend)
Sept 7: First Day for ALL Preschool Students
