Carrie Kunkle named CORAS Outstanding High School Teacher for 2024.

Congratulations to CHS art teacher, Carrie Kunkle, on being selected as an Outstanding High School Teacher by CORAS (Coalition of Rural and Appalachian Schools).  In addition to being an exceptional art and ceramics teacher, Mrs. Kunkle serves on our Building Leadership Team and District Leadership Team and serves as the Fine and Related Arts Department Chair, Art Club Advisor, Student Council Advisor, and Marching Band assistant. Outside of school, Mrs. Kunkle continues her passion for the arts.  She is a member of the KSU Tuscarawas Concert Band and the Dominic Greco Band, and she has had her artwork selected each year to be displayed and judged at the Ohio State Fair.  She has also been instrumental in helping to fund the Love Tusc artwork that is displayed in Dennison, Uhrichsville, and Newcomerstown. Congratulations, Mrs. Kunkle, on this well-deserved honor!
